260 Morinda citrifolia samplings are ready for planting.

This week, 260 Morinda citrifolia saplings are ready for planting and will be distributed to the weavers of Mbola So, in Maumere, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.

Our grower Mr Daniel Sani has been nurturing these sampling for over 6 months, and they are now ready for planting. These tree samplings will be distributed to the members of the Mbola So weaving cooperative, to be planted around their homes and in the group’s natural dye garden in the village.

We hope that in the future, the weavers will be able to benefit from this planting, harvesting the side roots of the trees to use as a natural dye, and harvesting the fruits for drying. Noni fruits are widely used for medicinal purpose and widely used as herbal food and drinks in developing countries.
